The Envelope Preview page gives you a detailed view of an individual envelope — its current status, documents, recipient information, and key metadata. From here you can also take action on the envelope without going through the envelopes grid.
The preview opens when you click Open from the envelope's action menu in the grid, or when you click an envelope entry in Recent Activity.
At the top of the page the envelope subject and its current status are displayed prominently — for example In Progress, Completed, Expired, or Declined. A summary below the subject shows the number of uploaded documents and the list of envelope recipients.
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Details | Shows the envelope metadata and an inline document viewer. |
| Recent Activity | Shows the chronological event timeline for this envelope — who sent it, who signed, and when each action occurred. See Recent activity. |
The Details tab is split into two areas — a document viewer on the left and envelope metadata on the right.
Displays the attached document inline with the number of pages shown. Navigation buttons allow you to move between documents.
